A Community Mental Health Center (CCMHC) offers Behavioral Health Services in the Southern area of Miami Dade. We are an outstanding organization accredited by the joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA}, and the Centers for Medicare/ Medicaid Services (CCMS). Our therapeutic programs are designed to provide clinically proven therapeutic services.
Homestead Behavioral Clinic is staffed by competent, interdisciplinary Licensed Mental Health professionals, program staff include Psychiatrists, A.R.N.P., Physician Assistant (CPA), Registered Nurse (CRNl), Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, and Targeted Case Managers trained in the best practices to treat the emotionally disturbed population in the communities we serve.

Intern job description:
A Targeted Case Manager performs services for adults and children with mental health issues, in accordance with all federal. state. and local laws, professional ethics, Agency policy and procedure. and contract requirements, Targeted Case Managers are expected to be proficient, knowledgeable,  and responsible for assessing, linking, and connecting clients and their families to the services indicated in the client's service plan. Services will be provided to clients in the office, home, school, or environment in which problems arise and where issues occur.

Special placement information:
Accepting MSW 1st-year and MSW 2nd-year (SL + clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Agency hours: 8:30AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday. 8:30AM-3:00PM, Saturday.
Transportation with vehicle insurance required. Travel reimbursement not available.
Stipend not available.
Liability insurance not required.
COVID-19 vaccination recommended.
