Hope at Hand (HOH) is a North Florida nonprofit that provides poetry therapy for at-risk youth.
HOH programming is an effective blend of arts and culture, education, and Mental Health.
Since 2009, HOH has provided poetry therapy for Duval County's most vulnerable youth populations: children in domestic violence shelters, pregnant foster girls, youth in recovery, incarcerated girls, and youth coping with homelessness.
The HOH team is slowly reemerging as our partner organizations reopen and ask us to resume programming while following all CDC safety guidelines. This programming request will support our work with youth at: Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless, Gateway/Steps to Recovery, Department of Juvenile Justice, Youth Crisis Center, Betty Griffin House, Children's Home Society/Buckner Division, RiverOak Recovery High School, Girl's Court, and Sanctuary on 8th Street.
