We provide training and education on trauma informed care to the community and child serving professionals utilizing the framework of Trust-Based Relational Intervention. Our mission is to equip ALL who touch the lives of children with what they need, so they can give children what they need. We are also the backbone agency.  and connective tissue of the community wide collaborative efforts of Building a Trauma Responsive Jacksonville.  We bring together those already working in Jacksonville to address Positive & Adverse Childhood Experiences and trauma to promote healing and build resilience. We are connectors who foster collaboration among organizations and communities, share events, tools, and resources, tell the stories of people making a difference, and support local level Systems of Care work. We are advocates who combine voices and efforts from all sectors to make the biggest difference including Systems change and Governmental level policy change.  We are solution engineers who identify needs, identify community solutions already at implementation stage, and combine viewpoint and experiential diversity.

Special Placement Information:

Agency is accepting MSW 1st year students.  Student will need to provide transportation to on-site training and events and is eligible for reimbursement.  Student is covered under organizational liability insurance. Video or audio taping is not permitted. While our normal working hours are Monday through Thursday, trainings may be held in the evenings or on the weekend.
