Private practice, solo practitioner providing Mental Health services/psychotherapy in the outpatient setting. Practice has a focus on diagnosing and treating trauma disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and people with BPD traits. Practice provides full Dialectical Behavior Therapy protocol. Ages seen in practice range from 13-70. Also see clients with other diagnosis to include: anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder.

Intern will be asked to assist with the following:
- Answering emails, maintaining social media presence/accounts
- Assisting/running DBT skills group
- Developing a resource/referral network
- Participating in community meetings related to private practice
- Completing readings and trainings related to DBT
- CBT and other treatment modalities utilized in practice
- Carrying a small caseload (up to 5)
- Assist (as necessary) with potential Baker Acts/referrals to inpatient or long-term residential facilities

Special placement information:
Accepting MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Transportation not necessary (no travel). Office accessible by public transit.
Liability insurance required.
Video-/Audio-taping permitted with client consent.
Agency hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 11:00AM - 8:30PM.
COVID-19 vaccination required and CDC guidelines must be followed.
Books and manuals related to DBT will be required.
