Information

We are a small private group practice (I and one other clinician) that provides mental health services in person to the Tallahassee community as well as online to the state of Florida. We serve ages 12-99 utilizing adherent DBT, Brainspotting, CBT, MBT, EMDR, and Schema Therapy. We diagnose and treat primarily personality disorders as well as conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, PTSD, anxiety, and depressive disorders. We also offer services to community organizations focused on reentry, as well as occasionally present at re-entry seminars in the Florida State Department of Corrections. I have been an LCSW since 2013 and a LCSW Qualified Supervisor since 2015. Amanda Gregory, the other clinician on staff, has been an LCSW since 2024.  We provide a PIE approach to our interventions, including family and partners in our work with individuals. We work within the NASW Code of Ethics. We also encourage our interns to listen to recordings of the licensing board meetings to gain a deeper understanding of how the clinical social work profession is governed. By the end of the placement, we hope to instill an understanding of the role of an LCSW in the mental health field as well as how to look for and implement evidence-based practices with clients.
