JSP is a non-profit, multidisciplinary team committed to assisting justice and community partners with transforming their systems to be more equitable, effective, and humane. JSP helps its partners innovate and reimagine their work by combining rigorous research, technical assistance, and delivery of evidence-informed practices and strategies. JSP infuses creativity, innovation, and passion into our work, taking an integrated approach to system transformation to help partners operationalize meaningful change and to serve the clients they work with. The work JSP does integrates strategies for improving the functioning of organizations with a focus on staff, structure, processes, and culture; methods for systematically planning, implementing, and measuring change; and the identification of solutions that maximize value for our clients. JSP also maintains a talented staff of social workers and other therapists to work with our partners to deliver state of the art services to individuals under their supervision and responsibility and train those organizations to hire their own staff to continue the delivery of evidenced based services in the future.

Special Placements Information:

Agency is accepting MSW 1st year students, Part-time BSW and Part-time MSW.  JSP has a fully remote work environment, so access to high-speed internet and telephone is required.  Supervision meetings will be conducted via zoom videoconferencing. Some transportation may be necessary for onsite work. Travel reimbursement is available for expenses associated with onsite work. JSP offers flexible work schedules, as some weekend and evening hours may be necessary.
