Wuesthoff Brevard hospice service patients and their families who meet the definition of hospice  (a life limiting condition where a doctor has determined the patient has 6 months to live). 
We serve patients in their home, in facilities, or in our hospice house (in patient unit). 
The role of medical Social Work is to provide a comprehensive psychosocial assessment, develop a plan to address psychosocial needs, and provide treatment toward the goals established. Medical Social Workers will engage in individual, family and group sessions. Medical Social Workers work as a member of an interdisciplinary team to provide care for their patients. 

Special placement information:
Accepting MSW 1st-year and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Hospice covers Brevard county. Transportation of own vehicle required.
Stipend not available.
Agency hours: 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday.
