Student will become HIV/AIDS tester and counselor, of community Outreach, complete biopsychosocial, mental health assessmen6t, medication management, referrals and resources, monthly telephone and face to face contact with clients that are HIV positive and complete case notes.  Arrange for transportation, case management, progress notes, and other needs for client.  Attend community and social events seek and apply for grant opportunities, coordinate programs and events, and any other social work needs. 

Special placement information:

Accepting BSW and MSW 1st-year students. Full- and part-time positions available. 

Transportation required, agency accessible by bus.

Evening and weekend hours available.

No stipend or travel reimbursement available unless needed and previously discussed.

Student will be allowed to take photos of events, but not clients.
