Starting out as western Wisconsin’s first hospital in 1883 MCHS Franciscan Health care continues to put the needs of our patients first as we deliver safe, high-quality patient care to the seven Rivers region.  We are part of a respected network of community-focused hospitals and clinics that serve Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.  More than 1000 physicians and 1000 specialized care providers and nearly 16, 500 staff.  We care from birth to end of life needs of our patients.  Because of this role of social work is diverse as we thrive to meet the needs of not only the patient but the service of our organization.  Sara will be primarily in the ER where she is conducting a wide range of support and services that may involve completing psych/social assessment, discharge planning supportive/brief education/counseling.  Community crisis calls, and after hours needs on the acute hospital floors.
