Information

We are a Vermont licensed, independent special education school serving students with severe emotional disturbance. We serve young persons between the ages of 12 - 21. Social Workers provide complete services, to all students, to help them manage anger and emotional issues and to learn self-regulation competencies. In addition, Social Workers work closely with families and social service agencies to help them access needed supports associated with family dynamics, socio-economic needs, and a variety of other family needs.
Intern is responsible for supporting students and staff. Student work includes supporting young people in school to manage the requirement of all academic curriculum including self-regulation and anger management. The intern also works with our Social Workers to implement therapy supports and learn strategies for supporting students with emotional disturbances. The intern also works with Social Work staff to support families and to learn how to help families navigate social service supports in the community.
