BSWs & First Year MSW students will have the opportunity to complete new client biopsychosocial, utilize the PHQ9 for depression and make phone calls to assess for intenUplan. The intern will be able to work with getting clients that are not appropriate i.e. suicidal ideation with intenUplan; active addiction or other self-harm behavior;  to assist the client to find a higher level of care. The intern will assess PHQ9s for each appointment & notify.
the provider of any high risk clients. There will opportunities to groups and community outreach. You will have an opportunity to create notes along with treatment planning. We currently have 3 therapist & an APRN for prescribing meds. We collaborate for the best outcomes. You will interact with all populations and age groups; interact with insurance companies. This position can be remote with proper training and confidence. This position requires someone with a level of maturity, self-starter and able to handle a fast-paced environment. . MSWs: The above to become oriented to the group and processes. Once up to speed you will begin seeing.  Clients. As an intern many students want to experience as many populations as possible and age groups that they can; that will be your experience here. My background is in running a non-profit so my heart is to provide care to people that may have lost their insurance or for whatever reason cannot afford therapy. That's where the interns are essential. We can have continuum of care during a time where the client is trying to find some ground to stand on.  You will have supervision with me and also supervision with a group of other interns and therapists. Where you will do case reviews and present your clients or other research you have done. You will Collaborate with the APRN in regard to medication. Not all clients see our APRN so you will also be collaborating with other psychiatrist, and physicians. By mid-term at the latest you will be getting clinical experience.

Special Placement Information:

The Agency is accepting BSW Full-time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advances Standing, (Clinical), Part-time BSW, and Part-time MSW.  Travel will be reimbursed if required to go out of the area for a community outreach, a seminar or anything that is pre-approved. MSWs require liability insurance; videotaping is permitted with a signed release from the client. Flexible hours: do require flexibity due to business needs i.e. evenings or weekend hours. I do take into consideration work hours & family obligations.  I am new to Jackson County. Most of my practice is in Wesley Chapel but have some clients from all over FL.  We are primarily remote, but there is a great need in Jackson County and I would like to offer services in my
