The Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability (OPPAGA) is an office of the Legislature.  OPPAGGA provides data, evaluative research, and objective analyses to assist the legislative budget and policy deliberation. OPPAGA conducts research as directed by state law, the presiding officers, or the Joint Legislative Auditing Committee.

Special Placement Information

40 hours/week, M-F between the hours of 7 AM and 6 PM.  Paid at a rate of $13/hour.  Travel expenses incurred by the intern in the conduct of an approved OPPAGA project will be reimbursed as allowed by s. 112.061, Florida Statutes.  A monthly; payroll deduction of $6 will cover parking.  The student will meet with assistantship supervisor bi-weekly to monitor progress.  Project leads will assign tasks and evaluate the student’s day-to-day project work.  The student will be involved in the policy area meeting and activates.  We currently do not have any staff with an MSW degree.
