Teenage girls ages 12-17 and their families equals the population.  Social worker will get to do individual, group and family counseling, crisis counseling, peer mediations, connect students with resources and other agencies and health clinics.  Social worker can also participate in school wide community service, projects, job shadows and help provide life skills training and mentorship.

Special Information:

Positions available for Full-time positions for BSW, MSW 1st Yr. students & MSW 2nd Yr. and Advanced Standing students.  Part-time positions also available for BSW & MSW students.    Agency is accessible by bus.  No stipend/reimbursement from Agency.  Student’s will need to provide liability insurance.  Video/Audio taping is permitted with guardian’s written permission.  Hours 7:45A to  4 PM, Monday thru Friday.  Best time to provide service to clients is 9:45A to 2:45 P.  Public Facebook page – Pace Center for Girls Alachua.
