Pace serves girls 11-17 yrs. old, in a center with no more than 55 girls served at one time.  Girls enroll for up to 24 months at a time and receive their normal Pinellas Co. School curriculum but also benefit from in-house counseling and psycho-educational groups.  Each girl receives an academic advisor and counselor at enrollment.  This advocacy team works together with the girls ‘family to support the girl in and out of the cent3er for behavioral and academic success.

Special Placement Information 

BSW Full time, MSW 1st ear students, (Clinical), Part-time BSW, Part-time MSW.  Any intern requirements can be satisfied.  Schedules will depend on student need.  No weekends available.  Center hours are 8 am-4 pm.  Some evening visits to homes may be required to satisfy monthly parent contracts.  An intern will always be accompanied by staff during one of these visits.  Pace Drivers training is required for use of Pace vans for home visits.  No video or audio recording without family permission.  Agency is available by the city bus.  Center is open year-long including summer semester hours.
