PAEC is an Educational Consortium that serves 14 small and rural districts in Florida's Panhandle. The Collaborative Holistic Alliance
to Advance Mental Health Professionals in Schools Project serves to expand the pipeline of high-quality, trained Clinical Social Workers to address the shortages of school-based mental health providers. We provide mental health services at 15 schools within the following districts: Gadsden, Jefferson, Liberty, Madison, and Taylor, the population served ranges from K-12th grade.

Special Placement Information:

The Agency accepts MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Clinical Students.  Not accepting interns during the Summer.  This is a paid OPS position, candidates are required to complete an agency application, and statement of interest, and be interviewed. This placement requires the student to have reliable transportation and mileage is reimbursed. Working hours range from 8 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Participants are required to work 8 hours a week to total 40 hours, which includes the 32 required placement hours.
