Path Point Life Skills Center located in Thousand Oaks; CA serves clients that are enrolled in Ventura County’s Mental Health health services. Path Point Life Skills Center is rehabilitation center providing outpatient mental health services for those suffering with moderate to severe mental illness. Clients receive one on one counseling, group psychotherapy and rehabilitation groups focused on social skills, coping skills and independent living skills. The ages served is 18+ with a majority of clients served being age 35-55.
Special Placement Information:
MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing, Part-time MSW. It is recommended that students carry their own liability insurance, but insurance is also provided by the agency. Videotaping is permitted with the consent of supervisor and client and must be documented in client’s chart before videotaping can begin. The agency’s hour are Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. There are no evening hours available.
