Saint John's Nursing Center is part of the organization of Catholic Health Services, we serve the elderly population receiving short term rehabilitation and those who reside long term in a nursing home.  Our campus also houses an Assisted living, HUD housing and an acute rehab for intensive physical therapy. The social worker assists in groups for patients and caregivers, complete bio-psychosocial assessments, assist in discharge planning, make and provide community resources/referrals to patients and families.

Special Placement Information:

The Agency is accepting BSW Full time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Students, (Clinical) Part-time BSW, Part-time MSW.  Transportation is needed, but bus stop is located in front of building. Students may not video or audio while on site. Students will not be reimbursed for travel and stipend is not available. Business hours for social services are 8:00am- 6:00pm , evening and weekend hours are available
as needed.  Students do have the opportunity to visit other campus' within the organization if they wish to work with various populations.
