We are an agency covering 6 counties in rural Southwest corner of Minnesota.  We are a Health and Human Service Agency, which is a combination of Public Health Nursing, education, WIC services, prevention programs, Social services, and financial assistance programs. Social Services include child welfare, child protection, children's Mental Health Targeted Case management, restorative justice-Circle Process, Long term Care, Adult protection Services, Waiver Services, Intellectually Delayed Case Management, and Adult Mental Health Targeted Case Management, Child Support Services, along with administering of SNAP benefits, Medical Assistance etc.  Age range 0-120 years.  Administration of MNChoices assessment to determine eligibility for Service.

Special placement information:

Accepting BSW students, MSW 1st-year and 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (social leadership) students. Part- and full-time positions available. Student must have valid driver's license.  Personal car would be preferable but not absolutely necessary. There are agency vehicles that are limited to availability at check out. Travel is partially reimbursed for personal car use. Liability insurance required.  Use of ZOOM is permitted. Need for taping would be considered case by case. 8:00PM-4:30PM Monday-Friday, Occasional after hours may occur. Very Limited bus or volunteer driver service available. Meal reimbursement available for out of catchment area appointments over meal times.  We offer unpaid internships.  
Majority of internship openings are BSW level.  Limited ability to provide MSW internship opportunities.
