The practice/agency has two district divisions.
Suncoast Imago offers couples and family counseling services from the Imago Relationship Theory and Internal Family Systems perspectives. 
Agency also (and primarily) provides general Social Work/case management and group/individual counseling services to residents of Assisted Living facilities. Residents of facilities focused on Mental Health range in age from 30-70 years old, while the residents of Assisted Living Facilities tend to be 65-90 years old. 
Residents are assisted with obtaining identification cards, certificates, transportation, Medicaid, and other necessary items and services. 
The Social Workers attend interdisciplinary team meetings and offer feedback and psychosocial input. Often, the Social Worker provides supportive counseling services to resident's family members.
Intern job description:
Internship opportunities will focus on primarily on providing advanced generalist Social Work services to individuals diagnosed with chronic and persistent mental illness. Intern will shadow the primary Social Worker until they feel confident and have developed the necessary skills to work more independently.
Intern will perform full biopsychosocial assessments and develop Medicare-compliant treatment plans and progress notes. Intern will work closely with psychiatric nurse practitioners and will develop a working knowledge of psychotropic medication and side effects.
Intern will utilize  ACCESS Florida to assist residents in applying for benefits.
While providing therapeutic services, intern will utilize an approach that provides unconditional positive regard, empathetic mirroring, and clear boundaries.

Accepting part-time MSW students.
Reliable transportation required. 
Travel reimbursement available.
Stipend not available.
Agency hours: flexible. Weekend and evening hours available.
