MCFB is a social work organization focused on early intervention for persons immigrating into the U.K. This means working with children and families before problems become entrenched during this important adjustment period. This can be the birth of a child, adapting to school, or to the city and community of Edinburgh. We work in partnership with families, listening to their views and adapting our practice to these views. We want to break down stereotypes and challenge prejudices.
Special Placement Information:
The agency accepts BSW Full-time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Students (Social Policy and Administration) (Clinical). All students are accepted, but students on a full-time placement are preferred.
