Information

Our mission is to promote thriving individuals, families, and communities by providing services and supports to those involved in the criminal justice system and the people and policymakers who serve them.
We achieve transformation by translating evidence driven approaches into policies, programming, and quality improvement processes.   After years of working at premier university research centers with innovators and social scientists researching from multiple disciplines, the idea for the creation of Wellbeing and Equity Innovations (WEI) was born in 2021. Thanks to our team of researchers and practitioners, we saw the need for new
sustainable, and equitable change with a focus on human potential, and with the help of fellow board members, the vision for WEI came together. With the goal of rapid translation and dissemination of evidence-based practices being an inspiration, we needed a way to better support the implementation of evidence-driven strategies into practice and policy in the real world. At WEI we now have the ability to support government agencies, non-governmental agencies, advocates, policy makers, and individuals and families impacted by criminal justice system involvement to achieve their goals of being effective, equitable, and humane. We continue to lead research trials and conduct program evaluations to ensure we have the most current up-to-date and state of the art information for our stakeholders.
