Our nonprofit has two programs, one is the parenting center, Tree of Life where families come for support, education, essential items, and referrals to other agencies Second program is Taking Back the Girls (TBTG) which provides presentations on Human Trafficking to educate and build awareness. We also work with individual clients providing a variety of workshops for at-risk girls and survivors of trafficking. We serve families facing a variety of hardships including food insecurity, financial hardship, homelessness, noninsured, etc. TOL mainly serves babies, children, and
families with small children. TBTG serves girls 11-25 and their parents; though our presentations serve boys as we host at all-boys schools and co-ed audiences. As social workers, we help meet our client's needs in both programs. Students will have individual caseloads of clients, they will conduct intakes, participate in our presentations, host workshops, and have to provide reports to the agencies we have contracts with on the status of those clients. This will all be under the supervision of the Executive Director.
