C.O.P.E. Center, Inc. is a private not-for-profit community behavioral health service provider. The community is primarily rural and has a population of less than 50,000. The agency provides school-based prevention and intervention services, outpatient counseling for individuals and family needs, psychiatry, batterer’s intervention, sexual perpetrators treatment, therapeutic foster homes for children, residential and rehabilitation services for severely and persistently mentally ill adults, psychological testing services, case management, and emergency services.
Special placement information:
Accepting BSW, MSW 1st-year, and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (SL + clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Generally, a student will be based in the DeFuniak Springs office. Primarily there may be an occasion for the student to work in the South Walton office one a week.
Transportation required.
Travel reimbursement available.
Liability insurance not required, covered by agency.
