Agency is located on a new campus, which includes admin/therapy building. Residence is for 60 families and state of the art childcare facility.  We service women with co-occurring disorders and their children.  The women are form diverse backgrounds and many are referred from legal system and DCF.  Children are limited to 3 per family from ages 0-9.  We accept pregnant clients and are advocates of reunification of families.  Comprehensive vocational, case management and therapeutic services are provided as well as medication management.  Social work perspectives are essential to the treatment team and center.

Special Information: 

MSW students 1st and 2nd year Clinical full time.  Students need transportation from home to work.  If they are on agency errand, they will be reimbursed for travel.  Campus is accessible by bus.  Students need liability insurance.  Clients live on agency campus 24/7 and students can make appointments or do approved groups with supervisor’s permission.  Audio and videotaping is allowed with client’s permission and in compliance with agency guidelines.  Many of our interns can provide additional focus on various issues and needs of the clients and then children.  Lifestyle change and life skill training as well as assisting case management are some of the areas where social work is utilized.
