Capital Regional Medical Center Behavioral Health Outpatient program encompasses two different programs; intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP.) Both programs serve adults 18 years of age or older who are dealing with significant mental health conditions that require intensive treatment. The intensive outpatient programs are half-day, and the partial hospitalization program is a full-day program. Both programs are approximately the same in duration, 4-6 weeks. Both programs offer group therapy, including process, psycho-education skill-building, and artistic expression-oriented groups. The social work intern will be expected to assist with; co-leading group therapy, psycho-social assessments, family therapy, and administrative tasks.
