The goal of the Juvenile Drug Court Treatment Program is to intervene with eligible youth who do not have an extensive delinquency history by offering a viable and positive alternative to treatment in a more secure setting, such as, residential and/or incarceration.
The Juvenile Drug Court Treatment Division works in conjunction with the Leon, Gadsden and Wakulla County Juvenile Courts, the State Attorney’s Office, the Public Defender’s Office, and the Department of Juvenile Justice.
The DISC Village, Inc. Juvenile Drug Court Program provides treatment services to the court ordered offenders.
Program Components: The program is divided into four (4) phases requiring intensive participation in the following:

- Group Counseling
- Family Counseling
- Chemical Education Class
- Community Involvement
- Self-Help/Support
- Parent Support Group
- Observed Urinalysis
Special Instructions:
The agency is accepting MSW 1st year, MSW 2nd and Advanced Standing students for clinical only. BSW and MSW, full and part-time placement.Personal transportation is needed for placement in this program. The agency can reimburse for travel if it is related to client centered activities or trainings but not to and from the placement sited. There are no stipends available to interns placed in our programs. The agency does not require liability insurance for interns. Any taping of clients has to be approved by the program supervisor and clinical supervisor. The program’ s hours of operation are 24 hours of the day. The program does not have placements with evening and weekend hours
