Campus Resources

FSU offers a wealth of international opportunities both for U.S. students and the many students who come here from abroad. Making use of these, we build a diverse community of scholars from many cultural backgrounds and with a wide range of academic interests.  Whether you’re interested in augmenting your degree with formal certification, finding informal opportunities to travel and volunteer abroad, or just want to meet up with students and faculty for coffee, meals, cultural events, or academic symposia, there’s something here for everyone.

Some of the resources include:

  • International Programs: FSU’s first stop for all credit-based international programming.
  • The Center for Global Engagement:  Located in the heart of campus, this is the hub of activity for a wide range of social and cultural events. Learn more here.
  • The Globe:  Housed with the CGE, the Globe sponsors multicultural events, art exhibits, weekly international meals and coffee hours, and even a quiet room for meditation.
  • Global Citizenship Certificate: Get formal recognition for international coursework, volunteer efforts, and internships.  Details here.
  • Global Peace Exchange (GPE) is a non-profit student-run international development organization founded in 2006 at Florida State University, which establishes relationships with non-governmental organizations in developing countries to allow students the opportunity to work on sustainable development projects on a grassroots level.
