The Arc Nature Coast is a non-profit agency founded in 1972 to provide programs and supports for individuals with developmental disabilities. Primarily funded through the State of Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities, we serve adults between the ages of 18 and 62 years old. Our primary mission is to serve our consumers with the least amount of supports in an integrated community setting. Our programs include Adult Day Training, supported employment, in-home supports, residential habilitation, and transportation. Traditional social work activities are not affiliated with provider agencies. We anticipate the student will be exposed to case management aspects during the course of their internship from the provider support planning and implementation process.
Special Information:
The agency does not reimburse for travel or have stipend available for student during internship. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Students will need their own health and liability insurance. Any costs associated with required training and or level II background screening will be at the cost of the student.
