Unity Wellness Center is an HIV clinic that serves HIV positive individuals age 18 and older. Unity Wellness is a fully functioning clinic with a medical staff, social work staff, outreach team, administrative team, and funding manager. Social workers assist in case management, linking contacts to additional services, emergency assistance, medical referrals, housing assistance, medication monitoring, and assisting in linkage to mental health and substance abuse services. Social workers can assist with outreach functions, testing, and clients, and work closely with the funding manager.
Clinical, MSW (2nd year and Advanced Standing Students), Full-time or part-time.
Students will not need transportation, but if travel is necessary, the student will be reimbursed. Video and audio typing are not permitted. The agency hours are 8-4:30, with additional late hours and some weekends when events are scheduled.
