SOW 4935 - Global Perspective on Health and Welfare - 6 elective credits

This course provides knowledge and understanding of global situations related to health and welfare. Elements included in the course: UN Sustainable Development Goals in relation to health and welfare, cultural aspects, complexity and impact of social determinants of health in different countries, International Classification on Functioning Disability and Health.

Housing for 4 weeks: $545 (approx. 5000 SEK)*

Double or single room accommodation off-campus with shared kitchens and bathrooms.

Social and Cultural Activities: Approx. $115 (1000 SEK)* Includes: Welcome lunch, company visits, trip to one of Sweden’s best-preserved castles from the 16th century in Vadstena, a trip to Gränna, a charming city where popular peppermint candy canes are handmade, Swedish Mid-summer celebration and additional excursions!
