Information

Brightside Child and Family Advocacy provides services to prevent child abuse and neglect by strengthening and supporting healthy family relationships. In 2022, Brightside will launch a new program named The Bright House.
The Bright House will provide supervised visitations and parent education/coaching services to families referred via court order or DFCS. By intervening during this traumatic time and providing parents with the support they need to care for their children ages 0-18 years old, our community prevent future abuse and neglect. In the warm environment of this new center, parents will be more receptive to parental coaching and more inclined to focus on their court-ordered plans to be reunified with their children. The Bright House will ensure that visitations take place in a safe and controlled environment to maximize developmentally appropriate interactions.
