Center for Child Counseling is the building foundation for playfulness. healthful and hopeful living for children, families, and communities.
Our vision is to empower healthy, resilient children and families through ACEs-aware and trauma-informed communities. At the Center for Child Counseling, we provide an array of mental health services and education to support children, teenagers, their families, and caregivers. Our expertise and programs are grounded in the latest research about child and adolescent mental health, child development, trauma, and resilience. Our programs work with children, adolescents, and families across the socioeconomic spectrum and from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Special Information:

The Agency is BSW Full-time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Clinical Students, Part-time BSW, Part-time MSW.  Center for Child Counseling is a community-based agency, students will need a vehicle.  There is no reimbursement for traveling and no opportunity for a stipend for a minimal 6 mdi. Students are required to have liability insurance. Students are permitted to videotape Students must commit at least 9 consecutive months of volunteering.  Students must dedicate 16 hours on-site, including but not limited to administrative tasks.
