David Lawrence Centers is a not-for-profit, leading provider of behavioral health solutions dedicated to inspiring and creating life-changing wellness for every individual. DLC provides innovative, comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based prevention and treatment services for children and adults who experience mental health, emotional, psychological, and
substance use challenges.     Varies per program and level of internship, client observation and clinician shadowing, sitting in on groups and counseling sessions, assisting with administrative duties, etc.

Special Information Placement:

Agency is taking BSW full-time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Students, (Clinical) Part-time BSW and Part-time MSW.  We    don't provide transportation, insurance must be included in agreement or provided by student listing DLC as additional insured, there are different hour depending on what department it is in, CSU/DETOX is open 24/7, weekend hours are available if the supervisor agrees to do, and it is accessible by bus. The student interning should have COVID/ FLU and TB test to be in compliance. There are exemptions available for FLU/COVID. Clinical students that come accompanied by an instructor for a short period of time, do not need vaccinations, they will be required to wear an N95 mask while on site.    _
