Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital (ECBH) is a free-standing, in-patient and out-patient, psychiatric treatment hospital that serves both the adolescent (12 +) and adult populations. We accept patients on a voluntary and an involuntary status under FL Chapter 394. ECBH provides short-term crisis stabilization as well as 28-day military resiliency programming. During stay, patients receive psychiatric evaluation with medication management., a minimum of 4 groups a day to include process, psychoeducational, expressive, and nursing, and discharge planning with linkage to aftercare resources.
Special placement information:
Accepting MSW 1st-year and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Agency hours: 24/7. Typical social services staff work from 0800-1700, with occasional need to stay past 1700 to meet the needs of patients.
