Heart of Georgia Hospice serves the terminally ill patients that ranges in age.  
We provide resources, emotional support, nursing care/assistance, and meals for families in need.  
As a Social Worker, primary duties are to assist with final arrangements of patients Funeral Home long-term care options, financial decisions, wills, and POAs. Duties also include conducting needs assessments and home visits.

Special placement information:
Accepting BSW, MSW 1st-year, and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing, (clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Transportation not required, except for transportation to and from the facilities.
Liability insurance not required.
Video-/Audio- taping can be discussed and permitted as long as it does not pose legal issues with organization/patient and all parties agree to it.  
Agency hours: 
Main office: 8:30AM-5:00PM. Inpatient facility: 24/7.
