Hospice Ministries provides hospice care to the Jackson-Metro area. In home and inpatient care are available. Our primary goal is to meet the medical, spiritual, and social needs of patients and their families throughout the dying process. Social workers are essential in coordination of care, providing emotional support, and advocacy of patient needs.
Special Placement Information:
BSW Full-time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Students, Part-time BSW, Part-time MSW. Transportation and Insurance are required and on file. Mileage is reimbursed. She will not need liability insurance. Video and audio taping are not allowed. Hospice ministries is open 24/7 with most admin working 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. Social workers rotate an on-call weekend schedule.
