Agency Description

Olive Crest is an agency that has offices in California, Nevada, and Washington State.  Services include foster care, emancipation from foster care, mental health services, Wrap Around Services, Behavior Rehabilitation Services and Safe Families.  Olive Crest South Sound is a Licensed Child Placing Agency in Washington State.  We license foster homes and provide services to children placed in our homes.  We have a family visitation program, Behavioral Rehabilitation Services for foster youth, Case Management for the children in our foster homes, and In Home Mental Health.Our In Home Mental Health services is a contract with WA State Child Welfare to provide mental health, Family Preservation Services, Incredible Years, and Family Functional Therapy.  In Home is the program that offers MSW advanced internships.

Special Information

MSW 1st year and 2nd year/Advanced Standing (Clinical).  Full-time and Part-time positions available.  The student will need their own transportation due to the services being provided in the parent's home.  Under this contract the student will work with birth parents, foster parents, and adoptive parents and the children in their care.  We do not allow video taping except for the training for an EBP.  Under this service we do pay travel mileage.  Our hours are somewhat flexible.  However the office is open only during daytime hours.  We will provide training in CANS, a required communimentric assessment tool.  We provide all FPS required training.  Interns attend all internal training.
