Healthy Families Florida (HFF) administers and accredited, statewide home visiting program whose primary mission is working with high-risk families to prevent child abuse and neglect.  Families must volunteer to participate and are only eligible if they are expecting a child or have child less than 3 months old and are assessed as having multiple risk factors for child abuse and neglect.  The length of services depends on the unique needs of each family, but families can remain in the program up until the child turns 5.  HFF provides quality assurance, technical assistance, contract management, data management, and training for the 32 subcontractors.

Special Information

MSW 2nd year & Advanced Standing; Social Policy and Administration; Full time.  All work will take place at the agency, which is accessible by bus.  No taping is needed, since no direct client services are provided.  The agency's hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Students can start as early as 7:00 am and can work as late as 6:00 pm.
