OCCN is a community-based service organization. Services include: outpatient mental health, psychiatric,
substance use counseling, medication assistance treatment therapy, infectious disease (prevention, treatment,
and counseling), case management. We service primarily the uninsured and low income from school age to the
elderly population. The role of the Social Worker to assess client's unique circumstances from a systems theory
approach, refer and collaborate with community partners, develop and implement clinically focused treatment
plan working towards client's identified goals. Treatment modalities will include both individual and group
settings.

Special Placement Information:

Agency is accepting MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Clinical Students, (Clinical).  Weekend and evening hours are not available to interns and they are required to carry liability insurance.
