PanCare of Florida is a Florida not-for-profit corporation that serves as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).  PanCare serves over 31,000 patients annually in nine counties with 10 locations as well as several mobile units.  PanCare provides comprehensive primary medical care, as well as dental and behavioral health serves.  Behavioral Health services, provided by Licensed Clinical Social Workers, consists of traditional 45-50 minute face-to-face, short-term therapy, PanCare also provides services through tele-health, and PanCare’s Behavioral Health Department provides counseling services in Bay District schools.  The Social work student can expect both administrative and clinical experience.  In many cases, the tasks are similar to traditional case management.

Special Placement Information:

BSW full time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and advanced standing, (social Leadership, formerly SPA) (clinical), part-time BSW, Part-time MSW.  No travel required, no stipend, no insurance required.  Video/audio permitted with parent consent, the main office is located on the bus route, and hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
