Paradigm, Inc. provides family services to children and families in Nebraska. Our team is dedicated to assisting public and private agencies in the human services, behavioral health, and educational fields. Paradigm brings an enormous amount of passion, commitment, experience, and a bit of common sense to the agencies with whom they are associated by using social work practices, concepts and knowledge to increase the efficacy of our work with children and families. Paradigm serves children ages 0-18 years and families of all age ranges mostly referred by the Division of Children and Families and the Office of Juvenile Probation.
Special Placement Information
BSW full-time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Students, (Social Leadership). (Clinical). Part-time BSW, Part time MSW. Paradigm Inc. requires all students to have their own transportation but reimburses mileage and time on a door-to door basis. Students will be treated like employees in the sense that they will be paid an hourly rate. However, additional supervision and training will be provided to assist them in achieving their education and learning contract goals and objectives. Paradigm provides the liability insurance that students require. Unfortunately, due to the contracts that we have with the Department of Health and Human Services, audio and videotaping is not allowed due to the minor ward status of the children involved in the child welfare cases. Audio/video recording may occur with permission on certain Juvenile Probation cases but these cases are less in quantity.
