The Pearl Project is a non-profit organization that provides trauma-informed training and support to foster, adoptive, and kinship families. The Pearl Project offers community trainings, support groups, one-on-one counseling, camps, retreats, and family events. The Pearl Project works to support caregivers and children (age 3 and up) as well as supports other community agencies through trauma-informed training and workshops.
Special Placement Information:
The Agency accepts Part-time BSW and Part-time MSW. The agency’s hours vary but generally are from 8:00am-3:00pm Monday through Friday. However, there are also events and trainings in the evenings and on weekends as needed. The Pearl Project has liability insurance for the organization, but it is advised that the intern get liability insurance if they will be working directly with clients.
