Founded in 1971, progress promotes the health, happiness & safety of people with disabilities and senior adults needing care.  We provide with disabilities and senior adults needing care.  We provide staff supports to bridge the gap between limited independence and the realization of the best possible life.  Progress has been a leader in serving people with intellectual disabilities for over 40 years through services such as day programs, residential support, respite care services, transportation, and employment services.  Through these services, we provide care to over 250 in middle Tennessee.

Special Placement Information

MSW 1st year students. Part-time.  Office hours are M-F, 8:30-4:30 pm student to provide his or her own transportation to/from the office.  Liability insurance will not be required as a volunteer; our insurance will cover the student.  Students required to pass all state/federal background and registry checks required by our regulatory oversight.  Video/audio taping not permitted without prior approval/authorization.
