Saad Hospice is a division of Saad Healthcare that serves Mobile, Baldwin, and Escambia County in Southern Alabama.  We serve adults of all ages with a terminal illness in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.  The role of the social workers at Saad Hospice is an important one.  Our social workers conduct home visits to ensure the social and emotional needs are being met for our patients, as well as serving patients in our twenty-one-bed inpatient hospice facility are.  The social workers work closely as part of an interdisciplinary team for discharge planning from our facility, whether that be to a home or to long-term care.

BSW full time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2ND YEAR AND Advanced Standing Students, (Social Leadership) Formerly SPA (Clinical) Part-time BSW, Part-time MSW.  Students must have their own reliable form of transportation; including motor vehicle insurance due to students traveling to and from patient homes.  Agency hours are from 8 am -5 pm, but students will be allowed afternoon and weekend hours if needed to complete hours.  Video/audio taping is not allowed.  Our agency is not accessible by public transit.
