The Veterinary Social Worker (VSW) program provides multifaceted assistance and support to clients (pet parents) and learn members of the hospital (ER & specialty animal hospital). The VSW team works as collaborative team members embedded in the Hospital. Clients being seen through the emergency room represent a true cross section of the community.  Meaning, a diverse client population is served including individuals, couples, families and groups.

Special Placement Information:

The Agency is accepting MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Clinical students, Part-time MSW.   No transportation is needed; no stipend or travel reimbursement is available. Hours vary as the hospital is open 24/7. Students have options in terms of schedule. The agency is accessible by bus.
