Women and Children's Department which includes: Neonatology (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Newborn Nursery, OB/GYN, Labor and Delivery, and Pediatrics). Student will complete assessments on families, discharge planning, linking patients to community resources, fetal demises, infant deaths, adoptions, medications (prior authorizations), sending referrals, CPS cases - making reports, and on-going assessments. Student will work with children and families.

Accepting BSW students, MSW 1st-year students, and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing students (clinical and social leadership). Full- and part-time positions available. Hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00AM - 4:30PM. Dress-code is business-casual or a black scrub top and bottom with black lab jacket. A printed identification card will be provided. Student will need liability insurance, no audio or video taping. Work weekends occasionally (if having to miss during the week). No travel reimbursement, no stipend available. Student will need to provide own transportation to and from hospital.
