SSY&F provides a full array of programs and services, including adoption and permanency, post-adoption, mentoring, family preservation, family reunification, family search and engagement, foster care, mental health, wraparound, juvenile justice, teletherapy, and peer support.  Services are provided throughout California, with a physical presence in Sacramento, Yolo, El Dorado, Placer Nevada, and Napa counties.  Through family-centered practices, the organization connects and strengthens families, so every young person can thrive.  SSY&F has a commitment to serving youth that is identified as hard to place due to severe trauma histories, developmental disabilities, health challenges (medically fragile), older youth, probation youth, and those demonstrating significant behaviors.  SSY&F is committed to serving youth who have been sexually exploited, and youth who are facing mental health and substance abuse challenges.  
SSY&F services are provided by a variety of qualified professionals, including, LMFTs, LCSWs, MSWs, and Behavioral Specialists. SST&F Master Level Social Workers provide services in several SSY&F programs including Flexible Integrated Services, Pathways to Permanency, Family & Youth Partnership, and the Career Pathways Program.

Special Placement Information

BSW full time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing (clinical) Part-time BSW, Part-time MSW.  Student interns are not paid a stipend.  Liability insurance is required. In compliance with HIPPA Confidentiality regulations, student interns are not permitted to video or audio tape clients.
