Information

Our mission: Providing Home, Hope, and healing to abused and neglected children and teens in Southwest Florida Youth Haven is the only congregate care facility in SWFL, home to children who have been removed from their homes for abuse, neglect, and abandonment.  Youth Haven children can range from 7-18 in our Emergency Shelter and At-Risk Shelters. Youth Haven also is licensed as a homeless teen shelter which is a voluntary home for community kids and homeless teens who have fallen through the cracks. This internship will work closely with case managers, program staff, and support staff to learn to advocate, support, and manage child welfare cases.  Youth Haven's approach is to provide a sense of normalcy and holistic.
programming while our children are living on our campus.
