NFOPG serves individuals 18 years and older who have been deemed incapacitated by the state of Florida and have no family or friends who are willing to serve as guardians or seek lesser restrictive alternatives to guardianship for these individuals. We have three offices, the central office in Tallahassee and two branch offices, one in Panama City and one in Jacksonville. We serve individuals in 22 counties in Florida.  The guardian representatives are responsible for completing monthly visits with the client, advocating for all of their needs, completing case notes, applying for and maintaining public benefits and completing assessments and annual reports. Special Information Placement:

The Agency accepts BSW and MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Clinical students full and part-time. Transportation is needed. However, we do reimburse for travel and work-related expenses. We do provide an agency laptop and cell phone for the intern to use. Our hours are somewhat flexible but the regular office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Fridays from 9 AM to 2 PM.  The agency has liability insurance.
