Valley’s Best Hospice is a Medicare Certified hospice agency-serving patients throughout Los Angeles County.  Hospice provides care for terminally ill patients in their place of residence-home, nursing home, through an interdisciplinary team including nursing, spiritual care, Social work, bereavement, and others. Patients are 18 and older from a variety of social economic backgrounds.

Special Information Placement

MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced standing, Part time MSW.  Transportation is necessary to visit patients mileage reimbursed.  Criminal background check, TB test required and provided by agency.  Agency hours are 8:30-5:00PM m-f.  Ideally, students are available Wednesday afternoon for interdisciplinary meetings.
