There are 5 different sites.
Site 1 and 5- Temporary Shelter with Residential Counseling: Currie House, a twelve bed Facility in Pensacola and HOPE House, an eight-bed facility in Crestview, are temporary shelters for non-adjudicated runaway, truant, and ungovernable youth 10 to 17 years of age. Individual, group and family counseling for shelter residents is provided by professionally trained staff.
Site 1, 2&5- Non Residential Counseling: Counselors provide individual, group, and family counseling for families with adolescents who are not under supervision of the Department of Juvenile Justice or the Department of Children and Families, and who are displaying runaway or ungovernable behavior or are experiencing school related problems, such as truancy.
Site 3-Sexual/Physical Abuse Treatment Program: The Sexual Abuse Treatment Program(S/PATP) of Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is an in depth, comprehensive, treatment program for families of a child between the ages of 2-17 who has been sexually/physically abused. Our primary treatment modality is group therapy, although individual and family sessions are utilized when needed. The group process brings the victim and the family out of isolation, reduces the shame and guilt, and provides a support group that raises self-esteem, therefore, reducing long-term negative consequences.
Site 4-Safe Haven Emergency Shelter: Safe Haven is a ten bed shelter for adolescent males 12 to 17 years of age who are in the custody of the state, having been recently removed from their homes, foster homes or other placements because of abuse, neglect, running away, misbehavior or other extenuating circumstances. Safe haven provides temporary (90-120 days) shelter while clients are between placements.
